Special Bonus Episode: The Dalai Lama Visits Colorado. On September 17th, 2006, His Holiness, Tendzin Gyatso, the Fourteenth Dalai Lama visited the Shamhala Mountain Center near Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Before a crowd of 2,500 onlookers, he blessed the Great Stupa of Dharmakaya. At 108 feet tall, the Great Stupa is the largest example of Buddhist architecture in North America.
