Who Said Going Downhill Was Easy? The snow conditions on Annapurna IV are so terrible it makes moving, even downhill, unbelievably difficult. With each step, the guys sink up to their waist in rotten snow.

At times it seems like the only things keeping Ben or Josh from sinking and disappearing under the snow are the packs on their backs!

It’s situations like these that show climbing up is sometimes easier than climbing down.
